Join us on April 17th, at 10:30am for an encouraging message of hope as we celebrate Easter at Eagle Heights! We will celebrate Jesus, the only begotten Son of God who died as the perfect sacrifice for sins, and then rose again from the dead.
For centuries, lambs were slain every year at passover and the blood of these sacrifices was applied to the alter as a means of covering the sins of the people who had brought them. Yet, through all that time, not one of those lambs had ever had the ability to wash away, or forgive sins. Then, Jesus stepped onto the scene. Jesus is fully God. Jesus is fully man. Jesus came from the throne of heaven to die as the perfect and final sacrifice for sins. He came as the only sacrifice ever offered that would be able to cleanse sin. Jesus offers full and complete forgiveness. This sacrifice was different from any other sacrifice ever offered and for this reason Jesus was called, "The Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world."
While Jesus came to die as the sacrificial payment for the sins of all mankind, this wasn't the end of His story. Because Jesus was God wrapped in humanity, the Bible tells us that He rose again three days after he died. In His death Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, but in the resurrection He is the perfect Savior.
Join us April 3rd, through April 17th, as we will learn the whole story and why Jesus matters for you today. Easter Sunday is on April 17th, 2022 and on that morning we will be examining the Resurrection of Jesus and the offer He makes to you personally. This April is an exciting time to join us as we Celebrate Jesus, the Lamb of God!!!
